Join Sebastian Schulman, the Yiddish Book Center’s director of special projects and partnerships, and Brian Calvert (from Jewish Heritage Travel) for a look at what makes Quebec an essential place on the world map of Yiddish culture historically and today. The talk will feature a sneak peek at the Center’s upcoming group tour to Montreal and Quebec City. The trip is a unique chance to experience Yiddish-Quebecois culture—its history, art, music, cuisine—as well as Montreal and Quebec City as both historic and contemporary centers of Jewish life and creativity.
